LAD Executive Board
If your school submits 50 or more entries for the Language Arts Fair, please select a representative from your school to serve on the LAD Executive Board. The officers for LAD will be elected from the members serving on the executive board. LAD must have a full slate of officers in order to be considered in good standing with NCTE; to ensure the future of the Language Arts Department of Southwest Missouri and the Language Arts Fair every spring, please consider volunteering a few hours of your time for this worthwhile cause.
*Remember, if your school participates in career ladder, hours of service on the executive board could be counted.
Spelling Bee
Schools wishing to participate in the spelling bee should complete a school membership form. This membership enables all students in a school to participate in the Language Arts Fair Spelling Bee but does not enable students to compete in the writing categories.
Please familiarize yourself with the Spelling Bee Information Sheet and the Spelling Bee Rules and Regulations.
Complete the Spelling Bee Entry Form to register your local winners for the 2008-2009 LAD Fair Spelling Bee.
